Welcome to the ADITO Platform Documentation
This documentation is the primary reference for teams building, customizing, and operating solutions on the ADITO platform. It covers conceptual foundations, implementation guidance, and technical reference material. Content is updated as new findings and clarifications become available.
We recommend following both this documentation and the surrounding release communication regularly so that important changes can be considered early in planning and delivery.
Getting started
If you are new to the platform, these two resources cover the first steps:
- Installing the development environment gets your environment set up and ready to work with.
- Training Course is a hands-on learning path for ADITO customization, working through practical exercises step by step.
Documentation sections
The documentation is grouped into the following sections:
- Core concepts explain how the platform works and why it is designed the way it is.
- Customization covers project-level topics such as entities, workflows, forms, and UI behaviour.
- Features describe product areas and platform capabilities such as Email, Reporting, or Webservices.
- System services describe platform services relevant to runtime behaviour and system administration.
- How-to guides show how to complete specific implementation or configuration steps.
- Guidelines document conventions and design principles for ADITO development.
Release information
Alongside the documentation, these resources help you track platform changes and plan upgrades:
- Release Notes summarize the most relevant functional and technical changes per release.
- Changelog is the complete technical change history.
- Upgrade guides document breaking changes, required migration steps, and version-specific compatibility topics.
