At the Dawn of a New Era: EntityModel × Calculations

New Era

The ADITO UnifiedEntityModel is about to take a major step forward.

With neonRowRecalculationMode, the way EntityModels look at process dependencies, calculations, and a perspective beyond row-level dependencies is changing fundamentally. Instead of treating recalculation as one familiar chain of work, the new approach opens the door to a much smarter view of what really needs to happen, when it needs to happen.

The result is expected to have a major positive impact on performance. At the same time, this is not the finish line yet. It is an active development step, a clear move in the right direction, and the foundation for improvements that will continue to grow from here.

With release 2026.1.0, that changes. The old menu retires. The new one takes over.

This post explains what is new, what is gone, and how to try it before 2026.1.0 ships.

Nice to have you here. This site is for everyone working with our platform – whether in development or operations.

We build software that does more than the usual. To keep it that way, our documentation also has to do more than just explain features. It should provide clarity, guidance, and support decision-making. In short: it’s part of the product.

That’s why we’re rethinking how we do documentation.
