Prerequisites

In order to generate activities from emails the following conditions have to be met:

  • A configured user account on your mailserver to be used by the mailbridge. This will be explained more in detail later in this section.

  • An ADITO user account, which is configured to use the previously mentioned mail user account.

  • Email addresses must be unique within the ADITO system. Each email address may be assigned to only one contact. If multiple contacts have the same email address, activities cannot be assigned correctly.

  • Emails need to fit within the mailservers and ADITOs file size constraints, otherwise the emails won’t be processed.
