Calendar
The ADITO Calendar lets users manage appointments, meetings, reminders, and tasks in ADITO. Calendar data can be stored in ADITO itself or connected to an external calendar system through a calendar backend alias.
Use this section to choose the correct backend, configure the alias, and map ADITO users to their corresponding calendar accounts.
Supported Backends
| Backend | Alias type | Recommended documentation |
|---|---|---|
| Microsoft Graph | AliasGraphBackend | Microsoft Graph Calendar |
| Exchange Web Services (EWS) | AliasSubExchangeWs | Exchange Web Services Calendar |
| CalDAV | AliasSubCaldav | CalDAV Calendar |
| Database | DB alias | Database Calendar |
note
Lotus Domino REST can still exist in older systems, but it is no longer a supported calendar backend for new configurations.
Setup Documentation
Start with General Setup. It explains the common setup flow, shared alias properties, instance configuration, preferences, and user mapping.
Then continue with the backend-specific page:
- Microsoft Graph Calendar for Microsoft 365 tenants.
- Exchange Web Services Calendar for legacy EWS or dedicated Exchange Server environments.
- CalDAV Calendar for standards-based CalDAV servers.
- Database Calendar for ADITO database-backed calendars.
For cache-specific behavior, see Calendar Caching.
